About Stephanie Trudel

I'M STEPHANIE

I am a certified Nutrition & Health Consultant (NNCP). My mission is to share the therapeutic benefits of food and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits to maintain a balanced well-being.

I help women restore their hormonal health naturally and I teach mindfulness for stress reduction and emotional regulation.

To restore balance, I advocate a natural return to essence, through a healthy diet and lifestyle adapted to each individual.

MY APPROACH

LISTEN AND TRUST THE WISDOM OF YOUR BODY

I take a positive, conscious and natural approach to food. I encourage people to eat with their senses rather than their heads. To eliminate foods that cause imbalances, it's important to listen to your body, to pay attention to the sensations each food provokes in you, and to consider the effects our environment has on our health.

My approach to holistic nutrition

HOLISTIC NUTRITION

My approach considers physical, nutritional, environmental and emotional components in order to identify nutritional imbalances, assess potential causes, and then present personalized recommendations.

MINDFULNESS

I encourage each individual to develop an awareness of their needs, in order to feel the benefits that these new habits have on their health.

Autonomy & sustainability

It will never be about temporary weight loss diets. My goal is to guide you in how you can change your diet to improve your health, vitality and well-being in a sustainable way.

AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO HEALTH

I have an integrative health practice where science and documented complementary therapies come together to provide recommendations tailored to each individual.

I assess each person's specific dietary and nutritional needs according to their state of health. I use the necessary naturotherapies such as diet, nutritional supplementation, detoxification, cleansing and lifestyle habits to restore balance.

Integrative Approach to Health
  • I help women suffering from hormonal imbalances to restore their endocrine system in a natural way so that they can experience their cycles smoothly and soothe their symptoms. If you wish to address the cause of hormonal imbalances such as:

    • Perimenopause or menopause

    • Heavy or irregular periods

    • Amenorrhea

    • PMS

    • Hypothyroidism

    • Low libido

    • Insomnia

    • Fertility issues

    • Depression

    • Mood disorders

    • Stopping hormonal contraceptives

    • Vaginal and/or urinary tract infections

    • Prenatal and postpartum support

    • And more

  • Nutritional modulation of the immune system plays an important role in the development of viruses, health disorders, food intolerances, allergies and chronic diseases. Considering the complexity of the immune system and identifying the cause of symptoms, I build tailored programs including a balanced diet composed of a range of nutrients as well as healthy lifestyle habits to prepare or strengthen the body to fight imbalances, infections and diseases.

  • Digestive disorders are common and cause many symptoms:

    • Gas

    • Heartburn

    • Abdominal pain

    • Bloating

    • Diarrhea

    • Constipation

    • And more

By eating a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, fiber and essential fatty acids, your digestive system will be able to produce the good bacteria that protect your gut health.

  • Through MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), I encourage people to pay attention to the inner workings of their mental, emotional and physical processes. By developing a connection with our body, senses and emotions, we can distinguish what is healthy from what is harmful to our health. By regularly practicing therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness, body scanning, breathing exercices, meditation and other mindfulness techniques, we can better regulate our emotions and intrusive thoughts, thereby reducing stress and/or anxiety.

  • Adopting healthy lifestyle habits contributes significantly to the improvement of your health. Whether it's improving your sleep hygiene, reducing your alcohol and caffeine intake, following a tailored exercise program, practicing wellness rituals, nurturing relationships that stimulate you, developing stress management techniques, maintaining a balanced lifestyle has beneficial effects on your body and your mind. They reduce your risk of developing chronic diseases, relieve your symptoms, allow you to age well and contribute to your vitality.

  • As a certified yoga teacher (CYT 200) and Ashtanga practitioner for over 6 years, I want to share my passion for yoga. Through vinyasa, you can anchor yourself with the breath, find balance through inner connection, strengthen your body by stabilizing your postures, and get out of your head and into communion with yourself.

  • Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment, thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and the environment in an intentional, non-judgmental way. Currently undergoing MBSR training and being a meditation practitioner for over 5 years, I integrate many of its scientifically-proven aspects into my approach to improve the physical and psychological symptoms associated with many health conditions.

Curious, eager to explore and an eternal student, I constantly deepen my knowledge in order to integrate my learnings into an integrative and multidisciplinary practice in constant evolution.
